Ingleton Wood and Kirkman & Jourdain

Type of project: Student union refurb

Create a new look for the student union at King's College London University.
Brief

Guy’s Bar Refurb

We were sent plans of the student union at King’s College London university, from building contractor, Kirkman and Jourdain. The plan was to give the student union a fresh, contemporary new look working alongside Ingleton Wood LLP.

Solution

Instant wall art

We installed an artificial green wall using our GE Rome panels to create a focal point within the bar. Our green walls are very aesthetically pleasing, adding texture and dimension to previously dull areas. It doesn’t need watering, it is fire retardant, and incredibly low maintenance. And unlike a real living wall, there are no ongoing costs for maintenance and no need for chemicals and water. A neon wall sign was added to create the perfect backdrop for customers – making it a great selfie spot in the student union! Thank you Kevin Grehan and Nicole Flynn. We really enjoyed working with you!
